During my 12-year tuition, I have had incredible students, and have loved the adventure of constantly getting innovative ideas of treatment to a theme to make it fantastic and fun for the student I tutor.
My teaching method
The mentor viewpoint of mine is focused on a learner: my aim is always to create a supportive, inspiring and pleasant environment for learning the ways to progress.
I respond actively to the requirements of each learner I teach, building my teaching style in the way that it best serves their personality and abilities.
Every time they're working on practical things related to their studies, I believe that children learn better. This points to writing tasks, using games, making rhymes, drawing pictures, presentations, and other formats of interaction, which makes children active and stimulated about the theme.
I teach productively and effectively, quickly investigating spots for upgrading, and then operating elementary pattern spotting practices. I prioritise setting up basic activities for the student develop their own perception of the problem. I am crazy about mathematics and physics, and I never burn out of speaking and exploring these topics with my students. It is a true joy to come up with interesting and new styles of presenting the topic so that it is always fresh and interesting for both the student and for me. My students always gave me very positive testimonials on our lessons.
The psychology of tutoring mathematics
Through humour, encouragement, and patience, I permanently do my best to teach my learners that they can much more than they imagine.
I believe that my desire to adapt teaching approaches in compliance with the demands of scholars, subject matter, and learner demographics are all serious for my ability to be effective as a teacher.
I base my teaching on the feeling that the sole way to uncover mathematics is to do maths. Although the process of reading examples and proofs from lecture notes and in textbooks is appreciated, the real comprehension comes through solving mathematical problems, either theoretical, computational, or both.
I have also uncovered that giving assignments which directly relate to the scholar's personal life can ease their learning the material and comprehension its application.
